Publicaties

Justice & Peace zet zich al 50 jaar lang in voor Nederlands en internationaal beleid gebaseerd op mensenrechten. Wij baseren onze adviezen aan beleidsmakers op het onderzoek dat wij doen in samenwerking met onze partners van over de hele wereld.

Onze publicaties tonen onze inspanningen om de beleidsmakers van Nederland en de Europese Unie ervan te overtuigen om de mensen die wij steunen een stem en inbreng te geven. Dit proberen wij ook te doen op het wereldtoneel via onze adviserende positie bij de Economische en Sociale Raad van de Verenigde Naties (ECOSOC).

Onze huidige projecten zijn gebaseerd op deze opgebouwde expertise op de gebieden van mensenrechtenverdedigers en gedwongen migratie.

Shelter City: Exploring the impact of a decade of temporary relocation experiences, In 2021, Justice & Peace Netherlands, the organization who initiated Shelter City in 2012, asked external consultant Danille de Winter to conduct a study on Shelter City. The aim of the study was to explore the impact made by Shelter City in the Netherlands on the work and lives of participating human rights defenders and their organizations over the course of 10 years.

The Barcelona Guidelines on Wellbeing and Temporary International Relocation of HRDs at risk, The Barcelona Guidelines are based on the research findings from a project and discussions between coordinators, wellbeing service providers, and researchers from around the world at an international retreat in Barcelona in June 2019.
