Solidaritywalk Shelter City Nijmegen
On Saturday July 3rd, the 2nd edition of the solidarity walk will take place! By participating in the solidarity walk you can support the former Nijmegen Shelter City guests in their struggle and give them a warm heart in these difficult times. The sponsor money of the walking tour will go to projects of former Shelter City Nijmegen guests and our current guest Guliaim.
The walking tour consists of six routes with Land van Ooij as the starting point. The distances are 5, 10, 16, 20, 25, and 30 km. On this day you can start the whole morning with the walk from Land van Ooij, between 07:00-12:00h.
The participants of the 2nd edition of the solidarity walk will be welcomed by our 12th Shelter City guest Guliaim, a women’s rights activist from Kyrgyzstan.
Conditions of participation walking tour:
- Participation costs for the walk are 10 euros for the catering (pay on the spot in cash or via contactless card)
- Collect sponsor money of at least 25 euros, which will go entirely to the Shelter City programme. (to be transferred to the account number: NL88 ABNA 0518 4551 49 attn. Wijland 2040 Foundation, stating solidarity walk 2021)
- We stick to the 1,5 meter rules and the guidelines of the RIVM!
