Who we are

Justice & Peace Netherlands is a non-profit organisation based in The Hague that is dedicated to defending and promoting respect for human rights and social justice, worldwide and in the Netherlands.

What we do

We provide a wide range of people and organisations with means to improve human rights and promote social justice. We focus on the empowerment of international human rights defenders at risk and on the initiatives in the Netherlands working for local solidarity with refugees.

Images, textures, and freedom: An exhibition by Artists’ Safe Haven resident Abecor

The premiere of Abecor’s artworks in the Netherlands exhibits sculptures and cartoons highlighting his perspective on pressing social and political issues through humour and satire, in images and textures.

The inaugural Move 4 Human Rights Summer Edition

In July 2024, Justice & Peace organized the first trajectory of our Move 4 Human Rights initiative. Through interactive workshops, project implementation, site visits, networking events, and cultural experiences, over fifty young individuals were empowered to pursue their human rights passion and work towards an inclusive society.

In May 2024, Justice & Peace presented a workshop and offered insights into how civic participation can be encouraged in the support and reception of people with refugee backgrounds through community sponsorship.
